Ways to Help Others, Materially and Spiritually
There are two basic actions we are called to every day:
1. Love God
2. Love the people around us
(Matthew 22:37-39)
Showing love to people can work itself out in many beautiful ways.
Look around you and see who’s in need, then ask God to work through you
to spread His love and hope in practical ways.
Beyond your immediate neighbourhood, you can also send help around the world in the name of Christ
to those in poverty and crisis, e.g. through:
World Vision - aid, disaster relief, and development
Samaritan’s Purse - aid, disaster relief, and development
Compassion International - sponsor a child
L’Abri - a place for people looking for answers in life, through residential study and service
