Pick a project that is the right size for you right now (anywhere from just 3 verses, to 66 of them in a set!). Check out Memorization Tips. Then find a friend who will commit to doing this with you in a certain time frame, start writing these verses on index cards (or download Flashcards Deluxe for your iOS or Android device for $3.99, well worth it—or there’s a free “lite” version), and get going!  
To make it super-easy to remember which verses you have memorized, and to be able to review them anywhere without needing any physical reminders—like when you are lying awake in the dark and would like to ponder something godly and encouraging—I have selected one verse from each chapter of all the following Bible books. So to review your memory verses after you’ve memorized them, you can just go through each book in your head, chapter by chapter.
